Albena Rasheva Dimitrova was invited to join the big family of Zonta International in 2004. She joined Zonta Club Veliko Tarnovo and for four and a half years working actively on various projects of the club; participate in joint projects between the Zonta Club Veliko Turnovo and various local and other Bulgarian NGOs; participated in two national conferences of NGOs on the problems of modern women in health, education and protection from domestic violence; take an active part in the work on the bill on the ombudsman in Bulgaria; actively involved in laying the foundations of youth Zonta structure in First High School of the city and others.
